This is a list of The Tomorrow People Original Series episodes, created and written by Roger Price, first broadcast on ITV between 30 April 1973 and 19 February 1979. There are 68 episodes in 8 series. It is the ITV equivalent of Doctor Who and Blake’s 7. The theme tune music was composed by Australian music composer Dudley Simpson (4 October 1922-4 November 2017), best known for composing BBC produced science fiction dramas, Doctor Who (best known for the Daleks, the Time Lord and The Tardis, first broadcast on 23 November 1963) and Blake’s 7 (best known for the Liberator Spaceship manned by 6 crew members, Roj Blake, Jenna, Avon, Vila, Gan and Cally, the supercomputers Zen and Orac and also the villains, Travis and Servalan, first broadcast on 2 January 1978), both created by the late Welsh science fiction scriptwriter, Terry Nation (8 August 1930-9 March 1997).
