Nicholas Young played John for all eight seasons of The Tomorrow People Original Series (the only other actor in the series to have this distinction was Philip Gilbert, who did the voice of TIM).

By the time Young was cast as John in 1973, he was in his early 20s and had appeared in a number of British TV shows and television plays. He also had a role in a two-part episode of Space: 1999.[2]

After the series ended, Young continued to appear on British TV. He also became a theatrical agent, with one of his clients being Philip Gilbert.[3]

In 2001, he reprised the role of John in the Big Finish Productions Audio Series.

On 23 September 2013, The Hollywood Reporter announced that Young would appear in the eighth and ninth episodes of the first season of the U.S. TV Series as Aldus Crick, a scientist who first discovered and studied the first generation of the Tomorrow People.[4]

Publicity[]

Another Hollywood Reporter article featured an interview with writer Phil Klemmer, who said that Young "had reached out to [executive producer] Greg Berlanti to offer congratulations on the series" and was subsequently offered a role on the show.[5]
